Linda Anderson was born in Detroit, Michigan. She demonstrated an early interest in business, graduating from high school in 1969 with a focus in this field. She continued her education at Henry Ford Community College, where she earned an Associate in Commerce degree in 1971.
In the same year, Linda began her professional journey at Ford Motor Company as an Administrative Assistant. However, her life took a significant turn in 1972 when she was got married and moved to Windsor, Ontario, Canada. There, she joined Lenore Simpson Personnel Agency and was placed in various organizations across Windsor – Ford Motor Company, St. Clair College and the Windsor Public School Board of Education to name a few – as an Administrative Assistant.
In 1974 she had her first child and two more children over the next five years, prompting her to take a career break to dedicate herself fully to raising her children.
In 1983, Linda returned to the workforce, joining the City of Windsor, where she found her passion in Human Resources. She remained with the City’s HR department until her retirement in 2015, contributing over three decades of service. Her retirement was brief; in 2016, she took on an HR role with the Learning Disabilities Association of Windsor Essex County, a non-profit organization, where she worked part-time until 2020.
Linda continued her commitment to community service in a Supervisor role at one of Windsor’s Vaccine Clinics from 2021 to 2022 during the global pandemic. In 2024, she started a new chapter with Razzberry’s Tech Services Inc., where she continues to apply her extensive experience and dedication to helping others.
Linda Anderson’s career reflects a lifelong commitment to service, community, and the growth and well-being of others, demonstrating resilience and adaptability throughout her diverse career journey.
