John Armand was born in 1972 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. After completing his high school education, John pursued a one-year business degree, graduating with honors. His early years were marked by a sense of adventure and a passion for the open road, which led him to a career in truck driving in 1995. For nearly two decades, he hauled goods across international borders between the U.S. and Canada, gaining valuable life experience along the way.
In 2013, John retired from truck driving due to medical reasons. However, his drive to serve his community remained strong. Not long after, he decided to put his business skills and technical knowledge to good use by opening an auto repair shop. His shop aimed to serve underserved communities, offering quality auto services at fair prices, reflecting John’s deep-rooted commitment to helping those in need.
John had always been fascinated by technology. His interest in computers, which he developed while in school, continued to grow. He built his own computers and learned the intricacies of software and hardware, further expanding his expertise beyond the traditional automotive world.
In 2024, John’s passion for technology and his commitment to community service converged when he joined Razzberry’s Tech Services Inc. as the Director of Development. In this role, he applies his diverse skill set, business acumen, and hands-on experience to support the organization’s mission of bridging the digital divide and providing tech support to underserved communities.
